Carol Colgate

Lauren Ames Interiors presents Carol Colgate's first one-woman show since moving to Chestertown from Atlanta in 2007.

Ms. Colgate, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, paints in acrylic on canvas and takes her inspiration from the colors, light and nature of the Eastern Shore. Her work has been shown in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. In 2008, Ms. Colgate received a commission from The Imperial Hotel, in Chestertown, for four new canvases representing the seasonal changes on the Eastern Shore.

This show of new works runs through May 31st.
